YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK DRIVING INFORMATION

Motorists, including those driving four wheel drive vehicles, must carry tire chains while visiting the park during winter and spring months. It’s advisable to carry chains year round. Temporary closures or chain restrictions may be instituted on any park road during most of the year.

All entrances to Yosemite National Park are open 24 hours a day, weather permitting. The entrance fee to Yosemite is $20 per vehicle and is good for seven days.
