To all good mountain men and women (and visitors):Be it known that I, Paul Bunyan, do hereby invite you to three glorious days of merriment. Eat, drink, dance & be merry to your heart’s content, relaxing in the balmy atmosphere of Pine, Fir & Cedar. Please peruse. You won’t be disappointed!

Tug of War

Less than a century ago, the Tug of War was an Olympic Event. It still survives at the Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee…one of the only two Tug of Wars regularly held in the USA! These guys take it seriously too. This event has to be seen to be believed!

Bull of the Woods

Another rarely witnessed athletic event, the Bull of the Woods pits pure brawn as two contestants battle to stay on the log. This is another long relished Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee Tradition and we doubt if you’ll ever see this event anywhere else. Again, participants are serious about winning this event!

Carnival

What’s a Jubilee without a giant carnival…especially an old fashioned one? Win a teddy bear or a goldfish, ride the ferris wheel, eat a corn dog or feast on cotton candy. This is Americana at its absolute best. Rest assured too that Tuolumne City’s small town atmosphere is perfect for the entire family.

A grand parade, queen’s contest, truck show, great eats, unique gifts & a day by day detailed schedule of Jubilee Events: all reasons why we urge you to please follow this link to learn more about the
51st Annual Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee.
